Pastor Bill Davis

Pastor Bill Davis

Lead Pastor

I grew up mostly from Jr. High through High School in Burns Oregon. I met my wife Isabelle at Southern Oregon College, (now university) we got married and now have three great adult children.

I enlisted in the Air Force to avoid the draft for army. I spent eight years in total, starting as an airman and being discharged as a 1st Lt. because I was fortunate enough to get promoted and attend officer training. I spent a few years working as a Human Resources Manager for companies in Southern California. We moved back to Oregon to raise our children, and I started working for the State, as a public assistance case manager.

When Isabelle decided to follow her call to ministry, I decided to follow her for a change and find work in Chicago to put her through McCormick Theological Seminary. After a couple of years of working for the state of Illinois, I realized that I too was being called. I became ordained and have served churches in Indiana, Minnesota and Oregon, and now I am semi-retired serving part time at The Community Presbyterian Church in Lakeside Or.

I have a B.S from Oklahoma State University, a Masters in Planning and Public Administration from Pepperdine University, and a Master in Divinity from McCormick Theological Seminary. My current activities not only include being a Pastor, but I am also a Planning Commissioner and a Parks Commissioner for Coos Bay and in my spare time I mediate small claims and residential eviction cases for the Common Ground Mediation.
