Invitation

I started writing a newsletter about the little Community Presbyterian Church in Lakeside that my wife & I started attending 5 years ago. I found out that it is the oldest church in the community and the building was built by the people of the community. The bell is over 150 years old and is still ringing telling the community that the church doors are open every Sunday at 11:00 A.M… Stories have been told to me about children trying to out sing the drunks that the pastor picked up from the town Sunday mornings, stories about the church being full Sunday mornings with over 80 people attending, large weddings, Boy Scout, Garden Club, AA, and Woman’s Club meetings. The church has been a vital part of the community.
